Transformations

Somehow the summer turned my "little kids" into just "kids".

Also, my newborn turned into a baby.

And my baby turned into a toddler.

None of these people asked my permission. I thought the title "mom" meant something, but I guess I was mistaken. The nerve.

Oh yeah...and I turned into old lady. Don't I look like I'm about to croak? Good-bye twenties.

At least I can still make a good cake, although I can't say the same about my face.
(FYI--it's chocolate cake with raspberry mousse filling and chocolate Italian meringue butter cream frosting)

My favorite gift was this card that Matt made for me.
So I guess that if Matt is the last one to transform into something else than it would be into the World's Best Husband. Because in high school I used to call him "the scum of the earth". I was so nice.

That cake sounds incredible. 5 adjectives before you get to "frosting" is definitely "30th birthday" special.

Your kids are beautiful.

Bekah looks exactly like you in that picture (What else is new?). And as I said before, you aren't 30. It's just not allowed. Because that means that the next time you and I are within the same decade again, I'LL be 30, and I have a problem with that.

You look great! Happy Birthday! Send me some of that cake, girl!

I can just picture you calling Matt "scum of the earth" with that little smirk on your face ;) Good thing you finally succumbed to his many charms.

The kids are growing up way too fast. As for you, miss Sarah, you are as beautiful as ever! And Matt is such a sweet husband. Love the card. Linda
