Anyway...here we are in April. It doesn't feel like that long ago, but Michael's hair is short here and by now he is sort of scaring people with a Justin Bieber look, so....it's been a while. But why blog when you are having fun, right? Now that Matt is back to work I have a reason to browse through pics of the good times. So April is where we start.
Here I am in California--just Mike and me--driving down with mom and Mary for a visit with my brother Nathan, wife Heather, and chilins.
One night we were making rat faces (when you dry off your front teeth and curl your top lip under so it sticks). Heather and I are pros because we've practiced since high school, so I was pretty confident about my rattyness, but Nate was startled and proclaimed that I had, "monster big teeth". Gee, thanks. Well now that I see this picture in all my dorky glory, I can kinda see what he was talking about.
All the better to eat you with, my dear. Wow, it's late. Okay, back to the pictures.
My cute nieces are into cheerleading, so we brought a pro in to show them how it's really done. Yep, that's me again. Professional at TWO things.
Beat that.
It turns out they are pros, too.
So after the necessary stunt squad preliminaries that every family has, we went to church, ate wicked good food, and basked in our own awesomeness.
Funny how these brown-eyed girls got these blue-eyed boys.
Here are the brown brothers: upside down.
Wow, that sounded an awful lot like Hop on Pop.
You can never have too much Dr. Seuss.
The lovely hostess and her chef-husband.
Mary, Heather, and me. Heather brings out the beauty in us.
And Nathan brings out the weirdos in us.
My mom brings out the "yes, we are perfect children" in us.Haha.
After the fun weekend, we had to drive home but we had a couple stops along the way.
My mom picked a cemetery.
I picked here.
Now who do you think chose wiser?
Just kidding. I really liked the cemetery. Saw some family, enjoyed the spring weather, etc.
Another stop was Grandma's house. Here's Mike on the couch. I didn't get a picture of G, but she'll be happy about that.
Once back at Mom's, we had dinner with another brother Matt, wife Kacey, and Brycen.
More yummy food, awesomeness, and all that jazz. Kacey and Mary got sick, so I guess they'd disagree, but I had a good time and that is all that matters anyway. teehee.
Mom and Matt meticulously making messes.
Sorry. I typed their names and just kept going with the "m" thing.
That is my cue to go to bed.

Maybe it's just really late for me, too, but I thought this post was hilarious. I also wondered, multiple times, if you were on drugs. :) Love ya! I think you should keep posting late. It makes for good reading.
I love all of you posts!!!! and its great to see your family xo
You're back! I've been told many times how big my teeth are. Thanks for the pictures.
Sarah, I'm a big fan of you. Was this the trip to CA where we were going to meet up with you guys, only we flaked out of the whole deal? Sad that we suck so much. Only, I'm going to have a baby any day now, so try to not hate me, ok? PS--have I ever mentioned how much I despise being pregnant? Because I do and it totally sucks. Please keep writing and making me laugh :-)
Thanks for the great pictures and memories! That was a really fun weekend!
